Airbus confirms that it will increase its dividend payout range

Airbus increased the maximum range of its dividend target before a Wednesday business update and confirmed its guidance to investors for 2025 in an effort to reassure them about its future prospects.

The company that makes single-aisle aircraft used by passenger airlines said it would aim for sustainable dividend growth, and increase the upper limit of its dividend payout to 50%. This is up from an earlier payout ratio between 30 to 40 percent.

In a press release, the world's biggest planemaker reiterated its commitment to profitable expansion and a target cash conversion of 1 over a five-year period.
