Kirby was previously the president of American Airlines between 2013 and 2016.

According to LSEG, United Airlines' market capitalization is?nearly 31 billion dollars, while American Airlines is valued at $7.42 billion dollars. (Reporting by Natalia Bueno Rebolledo in Mexico City; Editing by Maju Samuel)
