EasyJet's flight from airline disruptor, to US-led Apollo takeover

Apollo Global announced on Thursday that it had agreed to purchase European 'budget airline easyJet' in a deal valued at approximately PS5.7 billion ($7.7billion). Castlelake, the other potential buyer, abandoned its pursuit.
