South Korea's MFG purchases up to 65,000 tons of feed wheat, traders claim

Major Feedmill Group of South Korea (MFG) bought between 55,000 and 65,000 metric tonnes of animal feed wheat from optional origins on Wednesday in a private transaction without holding an international tender.

A consignment of goods was purchased for an estimated 254.99 per ton, including the surcharges for port unloading. The trading house Cofco was thought to be the seller.

Arrival in South Korea was scheduled for around October 15th. The shipment from the Black Sea was made between August 11 and September 11, or from the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast, Australia, or Canadian West coast between August 26 to September 26.

Declarate the volume of supply between 55,000 and 65,000 tons by August 1. The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later. Michael Hogan is reporting.
