LATAM Airlines to proceed with re-listing ADRs, secondary sale

LATAM Airlines stated on Tuesday it intends to continue with the process of relisting American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) in tandem with the very first secondary sale under the socalled registration rights contract, which certain investors requested.

The Santiago-based provider started the process of re-listing ADRs on the brand-new York Stock Exchange in April and stated at that time that the process could use up to 6 months.

In a filing to Chile's stock market, the company stated it plans to re-list ADRs at the very same time as the secondary sale will occur, but mentioned that it is uncertain when those occasions will happen.

About the secondary sale, LATAM Airlines stated in the statement that it will occur specifically in the United States and other jurisdictions beyond Chile, and it will be done through the emission of new ADRs.
