Ryanair may get five fewer planes by next summertime due to Boeing strike, CEO says.

Ryanair Group CEO Michael O'Leary stated on Saturday a prolonged Boeing employees' strike may cut the number of aircraft it receives by next summertime to 20 from an awaited 25.

O'Leary said his low-priced Irish airline, one of Boeing's. biggest clients, was expected to get 30 737 MAX. aircraft before summertime 2025 however Boeing's functional problems had. already brought that number to 25.

Today, with this week's Boeing's workers' strike further. threatening the airplane maker's turn-around, O'Leary stated. Ryanair may only receive 20 planes if the strike continues for. three to four weeks.

I believe that Boeing will repair this strike, O'Leary. told Ireland's Newstalk Radio. It might take a number of weeks.

Workers have been protesting all week in Boeing factories in. the Seattle location that put together Boeing's MAX, 777 and 767 jets.
