Southwest Airlines prepares to reduce service to and from Atlanta next year, affecting some employees on the impacted paths, the union covering the carrier's pilots stated on Wednesday.

The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association stated the airline would arrange drawdowns from April next year and decrease the variety of gates to 11 from 18.
