Indian airlines, airports received 999 hoax bomb risks so far this year

Airline companies and airports in India got a total of 999 scam bomb dangers from the start of this year up until Nov. 14, almost 10 times more than in the whole of 2023, the country's deputy civil air travel minister informed parliament on Thursday.

The risks to both domestic and international flights were made mostly through social media, disrupting travel in the world's fastest growing air travel market, and all were found to be false alarms.

The recent dangers were hoaxes and no real risk was found at any of the airports/aircraft in India, the minister, Murlidhar Mohol, informed parliament in a composed answer.

More than 500 bomb dangers were made in the last 2 weeks of October alone - higher than the remainder of the year integrated - he stated, and 12 individuals have been detained in relation to the 256 police problems signed up over such risks up to Nov. 14.
