He says that Ure's experience leading Western Midstream during a period of?significant?strategic change and organizational activity, including complex capital-allocation, acquisition and merger activity, will give Ure an?unique vantage point which will strengthen the?strategic advice?which Lazard gives to clients in the global energy market.

Peter Orszag is the CEO of Lazard. He said, "Leaders such as Michael have a unique perspective on how important decisions are made. This strengthens Lazard's differentiated advice to clients."
