The Turkish state grain board TMO purchased approximately 18,000 metric tonnes of crude sunflower oil as a provisional purchase in an auction for the same volume that closed on Thursday.

According to traders, about 6,000 metric tonnes were purchased from Yayla for an estimated $1208.90 per metric ton (cost and freight included).

Aves is believed to have sold another 6,000 tonnes at $1,209 per metric ton C&F.

Aves is believed to have sold 6,000 more tons at $1,195 per metric ton C&F.

All purchases made in TMO tenders will be confirmed later. Purchases may be cancelled or reduced.

The delivery was requested between April 2 and 21 at the ports of Iskenderun/Mersin and Tekirdag.

The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later. (Reporting and editing by Alex Richardson, Michael Hogan)
