Russian missile strike damages domestic building in Ukraine's Dnipro

A Russian missile strike damaged a ninestorey residential building in the main Ukrainian city of Dnipro on Friday, causing a variety of casualties, the regional governor stated.

A photograph published by Guv Serhiy Lysak on the Telegram messaging app and other images flowed on social media showed a terribly broken structure that had smoke increasing from a gaping hole in its upper four storeys.

Dnipro, which had a pre-war population of practically one million individuals, is a major Ukrainian city that lies on the roadway to the east of the country where the most extreme fighting with Russian forces is raging.

It has been regularly targeted by rocket and drone strikes considering that Russia released its February 2022 invasion. Russia rejects targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, but thousands of individuals have been eliminated.
