Mexico state-run airline to start freight flights quickly

Mexican staterun airline company Mexicana will begin freight flights soon, its chief executive said on Monday, and is considering chances to introduce worldwide flights throughout the Americas.

Mexicana, run by the military, re-started operations at the end of in 2015 after the government bought the rights to the brand from a defunct airline.

At the moment, the carrier runs domestic traveler flights, utilizing the also military-run airport outside of Mexico City as its center.
