EU: Croatia to assess legality of Russian oil imports
The European Commission announced on Wednesday that Croatia is evaluating whether it can import seaborne "Russian crude oil" to supply Hungary and Slovakia, after damage to the Druzhba pipe supplying these countries via Ukraine. Hungary accuses Ukraine of disrupting energy system in an effort to escalate a dispute over oil
Hungary's prime minister Viktor Orban on Wednesday accused Ukraine of planning to disrupt Hungary's?energy system and dispatched soldiers to safeguard infrastructure. This escalated a dispute that has undermined Europe’s pro-Ukraine majority. Hungary and Slovakia's leaders, who are the only ones in the EU to maintain relations with Moscow, have blamed Kyiv for a failure of the Druzhba pipeline, which supplies their refineries through Ukraine with Russian crude. Sri Lanka arrests ex-intelligence chief over 2019 Easter bombings

According to an adviser, institutional investors are driving demand for the Kenya State Oil Pipeline's IPO.

The government will also reduce its stake in the telecoms company Safaricom. The pipeline IPO will likely surpass the 2008 Safaricom offering which raised just under 50 billion shillings. Safaricom's IPO in dollar terms will still be the largest in the region due to the depreciation of the Kenyan shilling.

First production contract awarded to Aerospace Supplier Startup

Exports of cocoa beans from Ivory Coast are down by 2.8% on February 20

Jet2 UK says its annual profit will match expectations; summer 2026 capacity is up 8%
Jet2 said that it expects to report an annual profit in line with the market estimates. It also noted that its capacity for Summer 2026 was higher than a year ago, thanks to new and newly established bases.
Jet2 will launch new services next month from London Gatwick. The company is investing in the load factor, and focusing on attractive prices for holidaymakers.
The company reported that the?on sale capacity for Summer 2020 is 20 million seats. This is up 8% compared to a year earlier. Winter 2025-26's capacity of 5.5 millions?seats, however, has increased 7.4% year-on year.
The package holiday provider said that the 'average price across all leisure travel products is following a similar pattern to Summer 2025 as it reinvests marketing spend into pricing.
According to the company's consensus, analysts were expecting an operating profit of $439.6 million ($593.6 mln) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.
