Canadian ship and dock supervisors union in BC concern 72-hour strike notice to employer

A union representing ship and dock supervisors in Canada's British Columbia has provided 72hour strike notice against their company DP World that will start on Monday, BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA) said in a. statement.

BCMEA stated late on Friday the International Longshore and. Storage Facility Union Ship and Dock Foremen Local 514 (ILWU Local. 1514) has actually submitted the notice regardless of the Canada Industrial. Relations Board beginning a hearing today to address. grievances between the BCMEA and ILWU Resident 514. The hearing was. set up to advance August 6.
