The two terminals are currently closed, the Port of Montreal stated.

Montreal Port Authority reveals its frustration that no contract has been reached in between the Maritime Employers Association (MEA) and the Longshoremen's Union to avoid a work interruption, the port stated.

Every day of work stoppage puts $90.7 million in economic activity at threat, the port added.
