Shipping data shows that shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz was virtually halted on Monday, with only three?crossings within a period of 12 hours.

According to data analytics specialists SynMax, and tracking data provided by the Kpler platform, the oil products tanker Nero left the Gulf of Mexico and was sailing through Strait.
