Analyst ASAP Agri lifts 2024/25 Ukraine wheat export anticipated by 12.3%.

The ASAP Agri consultancy has increased its projection for the 2024/25 JulyJune Ukrainian wheat exports by 12.3% to 14.6 million metric loads, it stated on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian consultancy modified its forecast from 13 million tons a month earlier due to a higher-than-expected wheat harvest.

Ukraine could harvest 21.3 million tons of wheat this year, 2 million loads greater than it expected in July, the consultancy stated in a report.

APK-Inform said on Monday it increased its wheat crop outlook to 20.8 million tons from 19.99 million loads, and raised wheat export projection in 2024/25 to 13.4 million lots from 12.7 million loads.

UGA, the Ukrainian grain traders union, saw the wheat crop at 19.8 million loads and exports at 13 million loads.

Ukraine's agriculture ministry gave no projection for exports of 2024/25 wheat, but said farmers had actually collected 20.9 million tons of wheat from 97% of the sown area, since Aug. 9.
