South Korea's MFG passes in 70,000 T corn tender, traders say

South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG) is believed to have rejected all deals and made no purchase in a global tender to purchase up to 70,000 metric tons of animal feed corn on Friday, European traders stated.

Prices were considered as too high. The most affordable deal was approximated to be $245.45 a heap expense and freight (c&& f) included plus a plus a $1.50 a ton additional charge for extra port dumping stated to have actually been submitted by trading home Olam.

The tender looked for corn to be sourced from either South America or South Africa only for arrival in South Korea in one consignment around Jan. 6, 2025.

Delivery was looked for in 2024 in between Oct. 25-Nov. 25 if sourced from South America and Nov. 5-Dec. 5 if from South Africa.

Reports show evaluations from traders and further price quotes are still possible later on.
