South Korea's NOFI tenders for approximately 60,000 T soymeal

Leading South Korean animal feed maker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) has released a worldwide tender to buy as much as 60,000 metric lots of soymeal sourced optionally from South America, the United States or China, European traders stated on Friday.

The deadline for submission of price deals in the tender is likewise Friday, Oct. 11, they said.

The soymeal was sought in one consignment of 40,000 to 60,000 metric lots for arrival in South Korea around March 20, 2025.

Shipment was sought in between Jan. 21-Feb. 9 if sourced from South America, in between March 1-March 20 from China or in between Feb. 12-March 3 if from the U.S. Pacific Northwest coast, they said.

Deals were looked for both in straight-out rates per heap cost and freight consisted of (c&& f) and at a premium over the Chicago March 2025 soymeal agreement, traders said.
