Singapore Post names brand-new CFO in executive overhaul after whistleblower report

Singapore Post selected Isaac Mah, the present CFO of its Australia company, as group finance chief, the business said on Sunday, a week after dismissing 3 senior executives, including its CFO, over mishandling a whistleblower report.

Mah, who joined Singapore Post in 2019, most just recently supervise the sale of the Australian company to personal equity company Pacific Equity Partners.

Singapore Post fired group CFO Vincent Yik recently, along with CEO Vincent Phang and the chief of its global service unit (IBU), Li Yu, after they were found to be irresponsible in dealing with a whistleblower report.

The alleged misconduct reported by the whistleblower related to numerous workers who operated in the company's global e-commerce logistics parcels business.

Singapore Post also stated Gan Heng would step up as acting CEO of the global organization unit from his current function as head of the South district of the unit.

The Temasek-backed business said it would call a brand-new group CEO in due course.
