South Korea's MFG offers up to 70,000 tons of feed wheat

European traders reported on Thursday that the Major Feedmill Group of South Korea (MFG) had issued an international bid to purchase up 70,000 metric tonnes of animal feed wheat.

They also said that the deadline for submitting price offers is Thursday, July 11. Wheat is expected to arrive in South Korea as a single consignment in the vicinity of October 30.

The wheat can come from anywhere in the world, except Brazil, Argentina. China, India, and Pakistan. Wheat from the Black Sea may not be shipped to Russian or Ukrainian ports.

The seller is free to choose the quantity of wheat to offer within this range.

If you are sourcing from the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast, Australia, or Canadian West Coast, your shipment must arrive between September 26 and October 15, or between September 6 and Sept. 25, if it is coming from the U.S. Gulf Coast, Europe, or the Canadian East Coast.

The shipment should be completed at least 20 days sooner if it is routed through the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa to avoid attacks against shipping in Red Sea. (Reporting and editing by Kim Coghill, Michael Hogan)
