Two eliminated as Chilean train on test run hits freight train

Two individuals were eliminated and nine hurt on Thursday when a traveler train in a test run by Chile's state train company (EFE) collided with a cargo train run by private rail firm Fepasa, EFE said.

In the San Bernardo area on the outskirts of the capital quickly after midnight, the EFE train collided with the northbound Fepasa train bring about 1,346 metric tons of copper.
