The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration on Wednesday said SpaceX's workhorse Falcon 9 rocket has been grounded after failing an effort to land back in the world during a routine Starlink mission, requiring the company's second grounding this year.

The rocket's reusable first phase booster went back to Earth and tried to land on a sea-faring barge as usual, however fell into the ocean after a fiery goal, a SpaceX live stream revealed.

The occurrence involved the failure of the Falcon 9 booster rocket while landing on a droneship at sea. No public injuries or public home damage have been reported. The FAA is requiring an examination, an FAA representative said.
