Exports of Ukrainian maritime foods fell to 4,13 mln t in August

The Agriculture Ministry reported on Friday that Ukraine's food imports by sea and rivers totaled 4,13 million metric tonnes in August, down slightly from 4,25 million tons in the previous month.

The data revealed that the wheat was 2,18 million tons, corn 553 732 tons and barley 454,641 tonnes.

The UGA grain traders' union in Ukraine said that grain and oilseeds exports in August totalled 4.3 millions tons, an increase from 4.2.

UGA reported that this included 2.2 millions tons of wheat and 794,000 tons rapeseed.

Ukraine exports approximately 95% of grain via its Black Sea port.

According to data released by the Agriculture Ministry on Wednesday, Ukraine's grain imports for the July-June 2024/25 season jumped from 4.9 millions metric tons at the same time last season to 7.2 million as of September 4.
