Group declaring CDK systems hack demands countless dollars, Bloomberg News reports

A group of hackers declaring obligation for a cyberattack on CDK's software application systems has required countless dollars in ransom to put an end to the hack, which impacted automobile dealerships across the United States, Bloomberg News reported on Friday.

The group behind the attack is thought to be based in eastern Europe, according to the report, which cited people acquainted with the matter.
