Yemen's Houthis vows to expand their target in Israel until Gaza War ends

Yemen's Houthis announced on Tuesday that they will expand their targets to Israel over the next few days and hours if the "aggression on Gaza" does not stop.

Yahya Saarea, the military spokesperson for the Iran-aligned groups, confirmed that a ballistic rocket was used to target an Israeli airbase.

The Israeli military had earlier claimed that it intercepted a rocket launched by Yemen toward Israeli territory. In several parts of Israel, sirens sounded.

Houthi has fired drones and missiles at Israel repeatedly in what they have described as an act of solidarity with Palestinians living in Gaza.

According to Palestinian authorities, airstrikes on targets in Gaza killed over 400 people. This was a massive attack that brought an end to weeks of relative peace after talks for a permanent truce broke down.

Sarea, in a television address, said that "Yemen's leadership, its people, and its army will not remain idly mute while all these massacres are being committed against our people in Gaza."
