Iran's foreign minister stated that Tehran was open to diplomacy to resolve conflicts but not hazards and pressure, state media reported on Saturday, after the U.S. and three European powers imposed sanctions against the country's aviation sector.

Abbas Araqchi's remarks come a day after The European Union's primary diplomat said the bloc is thinking about new sanctions targeting Iran's air travel sector, in reaction to reports Tehran supplied Russia with ballistic rockets in its war versus Ukraine.

Iran continues on its own course with strength, although we have always been open to talk with fix disputes ... but dialogue must be based on shared regard, not on hazards and pressure, Araqchi stated, according to the main news company IRNA.

Araqchi stated on Wednesday that Tehran had actually not delivered any ballistic missiles to Russia and sanctions troubled Iran by the United States and 3 European powers would not fix any problems in between them.

The United States, Germany, Britain and France on Tuesday imposed new sanctions on Iran, consisting of procedures versus its national airline company Iran Air.
