Sources say that oil exports by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium from January to July were up 3%.

Two industry sources reported on Monday that the Caspian Pipeline Consortium exports crude oil via a Russian Black Sea Terminal from Kazakhstan. Oil exports increased by about 3% on an annual basis between January and July, to 1,43 million barrels a day.

Sources say that the exports in July rose to 5,61 million tonnes from 5,55 million tons during June.

Exports will fall around 9% to 4.9 million tons in August due to maintenance at the giant Tengiz field.

The consortium has not commented on its activities.
