Russia's October western port oil loadings to increase 3% m/m, sources state

Russia will increase oil exports via its western ports to 2.2 million barrels per day ( bpd) in October, somewhat up from September, as domestic refineries will increase runs only marginally in spite of coming out of the peak maintenance season, two trade sources stated on Tuesday.

Reuters sources stated previously that though a number of plants will finish upkeep in October recommending lower accessibility of crude oil for exports, others might decrease throughput after performing at capacity to make up for refinery interruptions across Russia in previous months.

Likewise numerous modifications in refinery maintenance schedules might lead to greater idle refining capacity in October, the sources stated.

Every day oil loadings from Russian western ports in October will increase by some 3% from September, Reuters computations revealed.

Urals and KEBCO oil loadings from Russia's Baltic ports in October will increase by some 0.6 million metric heaps from September to 7.1 million loads, the sources said.

Combined Urals, KEBCO and Siberian Light loadings from the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk will decrease to 2.2 million heaps in October from 2.24 million tonnes last month, according to the sources.
