Sources say that CPC has moored a second tanker at the repaired SPM-3 to load oil.

People familiar with the situation said that The Caspian Pipeline Consortium has berthed another tanker at its recently repaired SPM-3?at their Black Sea terminal, resuming stable oil loadings.

They said that the Agistri tanker would be loading 130,000 tons oil at the SPM-3 'facility, on Tuesday, after the departure from the Paschalis DD which had finished loading on Monday. According to LSEG'shipping data,' the Agistri vessel can be seen near the SPM-3 facility at this moment on the interactive map.

In late November, a drone attack by the Ukrainians destroyed one of CPC's mooring facilities. This forced CPC to run at a lower capacity with only one facility operational while SPM-3 was undergoing maintenance. CPC announced on Sunday that SPM-3 was back in service.

The loading of the second tanker signifies?the restoration of SPM-3 operation, which will allow CPC - the main export route of?Kazakhstani oil-- to maintain a stable throughput at full capacity.

The CPC terminal is able to maintain its full export capacity with two SPMs in operation, and the third SPM is usually held as a backup.

CPC representatives declined to comment on the daily operations.
