KFA South Korea tenders for up to 136,000 T of corn

European traders reported on Wednesday that the Korea Feed Association Incheon Section has published an international tender for up to 136,000 tons of animal feed grain to be sourced optionally.

They also said that the tender will close on Wednesday, November 13.

They said that the corn would be arriving in South Korea by February 2025, in two consignments. Incheon's KFA section is also called the Feed Buyers' Group.

A 68,000-ton consignment from optional origins will arrive in South Korea on or around February 28.

If the product is sourced from U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast, the shipment will take place between Jan. 25, Feb. 13 and Jan. 5, from the Gulf of Mexico between Jan. 5-24 or from South America from Dec. 31, Jan. 19, or South Africa from Jan. 10 to Jan. 29,

The traders said that they also received an invite for a second consignment of corn, weighing 68,000 tonnes and due to arrive around February 10. The corn should only be imported from South America and shipped between December 1 and December 31.

The traders reported that they were seeking offers in both outright and cost and freight included (C&F), as well as a premium to the Chicago March 2025 Corn contract. (Reporting and Editing by Jan Harvey, Michael Hogan)
